Description

This is the Korean Air Lines executive whose career came to earth with a bump over nuts served in a bag, not a bowl.

Heather Cho resigned her vice-presidency after forcing a New York-Seoul flight back to the gate to expel the chief steward.

On Friday she apologised to all those affected.

(SOUNDBITE)(Korean) FORMER VICE PRESIDENT OF KOREAN AIR LINES, HEATHER CHO, SAYING:

"I sincerely apologise for causing trouble to everyone, I'm sorry. "

Her father, who's chairman of the airline, was more forthright.

(SOUNDBITE)(Korean) CHO YANG-HO, CHAIRMAN OF KOREAN AIR LINES, SAYING:

"I apologise to the people of this country as chairman of Korean Air and as a father for the trouble caused by my daughter's foolish conduct."

Transport officials are investigating whether Cho's actions breached aviation laws.

She's been told she won't be employed by any other companies affiliated to Korean Air Lines.
