Koran Textual Criticism 3 - Inheritance
2 Views • May 03, 2018
Description
A look at how the god in Islam handles fractions – and fails.
The problem is that fractions are always part of a full something.
Mathematically, 9/3 or nine thirds are possible because this represents the number 3.
But if the estate of a deceased is to be distributed using fractions, increasing the existing estate is not possible.
Changing the various amounts is also not an option because the god of Islam clearly states that 3 daughters are to receive 2/3 or two thirds. Adjusting this to 16/27 makes it mathematically compatible – but contradicts the wishes of a god.
