It was Wednesday, a day when Grammy awards are to be given
The rich and famous people of the world walk on the red carpet
And we the poor were watching them sitting
On our rich neighbor’s red carpet
While his sons and daughters were enjoying it
Sitting on the red soft sofa
‘N shushing us when we whisper
And I was wondering...
I am sure that these people know that a lot of people are watching them
But do they know...
That at the same moment, there are poor people on a red carpet too?
And it doesn’t feel the same! ! !
No, no it really doesn’t feel good believe me! ! !
Being shushed on a country with freedom of speech
Being pushed by a rich man’s son when you giggle.
Being told to go to your home while enjoying a nice movie.
And a lot more...
What does it do to one?
Nothing but…
Forces one to be imaginary and a bookworm.
