Koh Chang is the largest island just off of Trat, Trat is 315km from Bangkok.
Koh Chang still has a few cheap places to stay at, but it is quickly being developed into Boutique hotels and other expensive types of accommodations.
Beaches on Koh Chang include Klong Son, Hat Sai Khao (White Sand Beach), Klong Prao, Kai Bae, Bai Lan, Tha Nam (Lonely Beach) and Bang Bao.
