Kmart Stores Closing Down Over Problems With Sears

To meet obligations over its plummeting sales and enormous debt, Sears has been selling off valuable brands and properties. Due to this, analysts say the discount chain Kmart, which is owned by Sears Holdings, is in danger of shutting down entirely. As their business dwindles, Sears has been shutting down Kmart stores far more rapidly than namesake stores, and laying off full-time employees at stores that remain open.
