KL folk urged to decrease food waste
Description
In an effort to hammer home the need to reduce the amount of food waste generated, Solid Waste Management and Public Cleansing Corporation (SWCorp) is planning to expand on its ‘Value Food, No Waste’ campaign.
In Kuala Lumpur alone, some 40% of the 2,400 tonnes of waste that end up in landfills daily consists of food waste.
