KL Customs seizes untaxed alcohol, busts illegal beer processing syndicate
Description
The Royal Malaysian Customs Department seized untaxed alcoholic beverages worth nearly RM400,000 after intercepting a container at Port Klang, Selangor.
Its Kuala Lumpur director Wan Norizan Wan Daud said the seizure was carried out by the Enforcement Division during Ops Petasan on Feb 11.
In a separate case, she said the department busted an illegal beer processing and bottling syndicate during a raid at a premises in Kampung Bukit Lanchong, Shah Alam on Feb 6.
