Kirsten Gray - Hurt

this is the first poem i ever wrote

Their words they hurt and destroy
they deaden those eyes once filled with joy
their abusive languge tears me down
it will not let me rise from the ground
it hurts me so that i can't speak
it makes me feel so very weak
they may just mean it as a joke
but to me it seems like i'm going to choke
they use thier freedom to make them glad
but all it does is make me sad
i would rather go and die
than let them sit and watch me cry
then at home i do so weep
just not for the world to see
this is how i truly feel
even if no one want to hear my spial
