Kingfisher apologizes to passengers, DGCA

All eyes are on the Finance Ministeron whether or not the government will act against Civil Aviation Minister Vyalar Ravi's request to bail out Kingfisher airlines. As chances of a govt bailout look bleak lenders to the Vijay Mallya-promoted Kingfisher Airlines will also meet today to discuss if additional funding could be provided to the airline which has run into more financial turbulence. Kingfisher extends apologies to its passengers and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. There's an admission too that it should have informed in advance about cancellations.
