KING DUDE (BalconyTV)

Seattle's King Dude is making, hands down, some of the best modern neo-folk. Fans of Death In June, Sol Invictus, & Blood Axis - take notice if you haven't already, you're going to love this. However dark the music of King Dude, it's never cheesy, and to an extent, I'd say the tongue is firmly in cheek -- keep in mind it is called KING DUDE. His songs are incredibly well-written and catchy as hell.

As a side project of Cross and Book of Black Earth mainstay TJ Cowgill, King Dude explores a more darkly spiritual acoustic-folk side. Reigning from Seattle, WA. he has released a cassette on Bethargic Records, and an upcoming 7" on Clan Destine Records in the UK.
