King: Do not play up sensitive issues

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has reminded all Malaysians not to play up sensitive issues in the interests of any party.
Sultan Abdullah said that when gracing the investiture ceremony of federal awards and honours held in conjunction with the official birthday of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong at Istana Negara on Monday (Sept 9).
At the ceremony, Al-Sultan Abdullah also conferred 795 individuals with federal awards, honours and medals, including to Chief Justice Datuk Seri Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat, Chief Secretary to the Government Datuk Seri Dr Ismail Bakar and Chief of Defence Forces Gen Tan Sri Zulkifli Zainal Abidin.
