As the sun sets
We must remember that
The sun will set
Little by little
The world over

We are not alone

No life on this earth
Has managed to escape
The setting of the sun

Though some may choose
To hide or close their eyes
Sundown is a reality for us all

At the beginning of the day

As the sun rises
We must remember that
The sun will rise
Little by little
The world over

We are not alone
No life on earth ever is

All life on this earth
Is duly assured
The rising of the sun

Though some may fear
Some infinite night or darkness
Sunset is a reality for us all

But, if the sun will set
The sun will rise

Know that this is true
Of the pain you are feeling now
Tomorrow is anew day

The seed of that sunrise
Is embedded
In the setting sun of today

Never give up hope
