Kim Jong Un 'is back'

...And he's back!

After a lengthy absence, photos from state media apparently show Kim Jong Un visiting a housing development centre.

Pictures from a North Korean news website show Kim surrounded by officials and supporting himself with a cane.

A source with access to the government said Kim had hurt his leg taking part in a military drill.

Last Friday, state media broadcast celebrations for the Worker's Party anniversary from which Kim was notably absent.

There has been speculation about his health as well as a power struggle within the government.

Analysts say reports of Kim's reappearance are aimed at dispelling those rumours.
