The heart beats wildly nevermore,
The song to be sung waits nevermore,
You, my friend, stab me in the back nevermore,
It's too late to fix what you have done,
And by regretting it you are making it worse,
I am what I can't be,
And I apologize for that,
For being in your way all this time,
But you can read me as well as any open book lying in wait,
And I can't let go of the secrets now,
For you, my friend, it is too late,
Too late to help me,
Too late to fix yourself, because in your eyes,
You were never broken.
