Kim Davies - The Box

I will put in the box:
A silky smooth feather from a pure white dove,
A great big armful of warm fuzzy love,
And a fluffy pink cloud, from the heavens above.

I will put in the box:
The laughter of children as they run and play,
A chorus of birdsong at the break of day,
And the suns' most dazzling, golden ray.

I will put in the box:
A glorious, lustrous pearl of wisdom,
The tiniest little peek into faerie kingdom,
And the fresh earthy taste, of freedom.

My box will be made of delicate lace,
Woven with flowers on every face,
All wrapped up with ribbons and bows,
And on the top; a beautiful red rose.

I will place my box at the end of a rainbow,
'Til all the love and blessings grow.
I'll know the magic has started to flow,
When the box begins to sparkle and glow.
Then, I'll dissolve my box into the ocean,
And invite the Whole world to bathe in the potion.
