Kezune Walker - Loneliness

(Its not really a poem, but I had to get my feelings out...)

Loneliness, the one word I cannot bare to hear,
but the one word that appears the most.
What is loneliness, but the independence to do what you desire?
To stand out from the crowd without uttering a word,
to be who you want to be.
I sit alone staring out the window,
The cold breeze through my hair,
The light of the Moon shining upon my tears.
Loneliness, am I alone?
.....................................
Even with my family and friends, I am alone.
Even with a thousand people around me, I am alone.
I see people by themselves on the street or in the park,
they are alone.
Can I call this feeling Loneliness?
Or am I just afraid of what it is like to be close to someone.
When I talk to or see my family, I seem happy.
But it is fake.
I can only be who I truly am,
when I am alone....
