Sometimes I cry deep in the night
Difficult somedays just to get by
Tears are a message from God within
That we all yearn for a Heavenly blessing
Sometimes I cry, sometimes I laugh
A heart bleeds, when pushed too far
A listening ear, someone to confide
Goes a long way when you need a guide
Sometimes I cry deep in the haze
Awash with sunlight to brighten my days
They say to cry lessens the load
Unburdens the weight as you walk the road
This life goes by in a blink of an eye
Enjoy, I try and...sometimes I cry
