Kevin Halls - Resolutions

People will be making resolutions
just like they do each and every year
some will decide to stop smoking
while others will pack in drinking beer.
People will say they'll lose weight
go Jogging and join their local Gym
many folk will go and buy sports gear
as they have always wanted to be slim.
People will say they'll stop swearing
and be more friendly to all that they meet
while some will save up their hard earned cash
to spend on clothes and shoes for their feet.
But will these resolutions last very long?
as we all know old habits are very hard to break
that friend who said it was time to diet
is already eating chips and slices of cake.
So beware of making New Year Resolutions
because you could be soon heading for a fall
so this year I've decided on one thing
and that is not to make any resolutions at all!
