Kevin Halls - It's Snowing!

Three or Four inches of snow
and the country shuts down
everybody on Red alert
in the Villages, Cities, and Town.
Schools are hardly open
so kids go Sledging instead
Trains delayed and Planes grounded
so we may as well all stay in bed.
We all want Snow at Christmas
but it usually arrives too late
then when it finally appears
we panic and get into a state.
But other countries seem to cope
and they have it worse than us
while they get on with things
we moan and whinge and make a fuss.
So let's get back our Bulldog spirit
but I fear it may be far too late
we have to admit it we've gone soft
so our Island alas is no longer great!
