Kevin Eaglesfield - Mermaid
1 Views • Jun 15, 2014
Description
Head bent slightly on her delicate neck,
Gazing at the gentle sea
Does this one perch.
No.
This one slumps,
With hair knotted tightly
Through white grasping fingers.
Tail slapping the dirty sea
As we would kick in grief.
Claws wrists then head,
Then wrists again.
Growls and moans
Through snarling gritted teeth.
And rocks.
