Kev Elmer - A Dream

Stood on the side lines,
watching life pass me by.
Then you walked on past,
and really caught my eye.

Willing to risk the pain again,
instead of regreting the could of been.
so why cant we get together,
and venture into the unforseen.

Unknown on where we are going,
or for how far it goes.
So I pull out a flower,
A single dark red rose.

Another small token I'll give you,
a piece of my glowing heart.
Now we are together,
even when apart.

We couldn't spend much time together.
from the very begining.
but to show my feelings
I'll give you this dimond ring.

I still feel the same
Ten years on.
With only one difference,
all the pain has gone.

I wake up on my bed,
it must of all been a dream.
I'm staring at the ceiling,
and questioning what does it mean?
