Description

The two frontrunners in Kenya's presidential election held their final campaign events ahead of Monday's vote.

Tens of thousands attended a rally at a football stadium for current Prime Minister Raila Odinga in Nairobi on Saturday.

Elsewhere in Nairobi, the other frontrunner Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta addressed his impending Hague indictment during his speech.

After the deadly chaos that followed the last presidential election five years ago, both front-runners are calling on voters to remain calm, whatever the result.

Kenyatta and his running mate have been indicted by the International Criminal Court for their role in the violence after the last election that left more than 1200 dead.

Both Odinga and Kenyatta have promised to respect the result of the vote and have also urged their supporters to refrain from violence.
