this is a sestina so its written a little weird hope you enjoy

Corruption

The world is corrupt,
We lie, cheat, and steal.
We’re afraid
To leave our house and truly live.
We can’t survive
And so we die.

We’re dying,
Slow and corrupt.
How can we survive?
After the life we stole.
How can we live?
Always afraid.

If we live afraid
We will die.
If we live
We will be corrupt.
And so we steal
Just trying to survive.

How will we survive?
Afraid
Living live as steal
Or die
The world is corrupt
Because we live

We try to live
We try to survive.
We stay corrupt
And we live afraid.
And when we die
We never stop stealing.

If we steal
We no longer live.
If we have to die,
How can we survive?
Because we’re afraid
Does it make us corrupt?

When we die, what do we truly steal?
If we’re corrupt, how do we live?
How can we survive, if we’re always afraid?
