Kenneth E. Alspaugh - Where Is My Burning Bush

I have not seen my Goliath no coat of many colors have I received
I have no fish I see to swallow me, where is my burning bush?
I have no walls to march to around, no trumpet to blow,
or sword to raise, Is my call therefore silent?
Does my God scream loudly, to my ignorant unhearing heart?
May it never be!
I know You Light the path, oh Lord,
and ignite the torch to illuminate my way.
Moment by moment You set ablaze a bush,
or raise up a giant challenge in my life.
You'll put me where I can serve You and
Those whose need is greatest; even as Joseph I will be
at the one place that defines God then and there Perfectly!
