'what would it be like.....not
to hold your angel hands?
Not to kiss your blushing cheek
so smooth and soft like sand'

'what would it be like.....not
to hold you in my arms?
To grab you firm and tight
no fear or alarm'

'what would it be like.....not
to hear the sound of your voice?
To feel the beat of your heart
which guides my heart and choice'

I sat down, held your hand
and looked into the sky
Putting my face near yours
and.........I realized

A life without you...
is the sun without the moon
A missing shining light
darkness would consume

A life without you...
is a nighttime sky above
without any stars and comets
that I adore, I love

A life without you...
is a pain without an antidote
It doesn't kill but torture
no way to stop, no hope

A life without you...
Is like a bird without a sky
to soar free and happly
it would surely die

A life without you...would
not be angry or shocked
Not happy, joyful, depressed, mad
not resentful, rebellious, or even bad
Not fearful or suspicious
Not tearful, nor delicious
Not hateful, ferocious
Nor any other emotion..........

Only empty..............and lonely
