Bullets come calling for Christmas
Children they cry out in fear
Classrooms no longer for teaching
Gunfire is all that they hear

Teachers huddle to protect their flock
In reassuring whispers they speak
Don't be afraid, the good men will come
To protect the young and the weak

A river of parents tears now flow
They search for the reasons why
Their little angels were taken away
Asking, God why did they have to die

How many tragedies must unfold
Before America finally awakes
Laws on guns now must be changed
Or more angels will pay for their mistakes
