Sitting in the dark, alone and cold,
I wish you were still here with me to hold.
Inside my head,
I hear my favorite words you said.
'I love you.' said so sure,
I knew them to be from your heart and pure.
I picture you and me,
Happy together, almost a family.
But after a while,
A glare becomes your smile.
You push me away,
Broken and dismembered I stay.
This is how I'll be,
This is forever me.
