Kelsey Pearson - Loved and Lost

They say “Tis better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all”,
With you I loved and with you I lost and at times I regret my fall,
But my feelings have turned from bad to good,
Considering I did as best I could,
And the pain and sorrow from the past,
Has made me stronger, strength to last,
And I know I’ll never forget the tears,
Even though it was just months, it felt like years,
And even now it brings a tear to my eye,
And remembering the good days, I can’t help but cry,
And now my heart will try to mend,
For I loved with all my heart ‘til the very end.
