Kelly Curiel - Before
3 Views • Nov 10, 2014
Description
now only makes me cry...
Your laugh used to be my serenade
now it is the music of my nightmares.
Those eyes of gold once warmed my heart
but now they pierce my soul.
You are a stranger compared to who you were before...
Before you broke my heart.
Before you were a son of honor
You were a boy of high hopes and dreams
you were proud to be who you were
and never let anyone tell you different.
I loved you with a love greater than all loves
if only you knew maybe it would be different...
My love had always remained a secret
but I think you knew.
If only I knew you felt for me in return
maybe things would be different between us
maybe you could have loved me.
Then you were a beautiful man.
But that was then, and this is now.
