Kelly Aragon - I Will Survive.

This poem was requested by Keith Kamoso. He gave me some information and asked me to make a poem out of it. This is me writing in his shoes, how I would feel if I were him.

I wake up, it's another day,
All I can say is I'm feeling ok,
Life's been tough, recently,
Life really isn't just a cup of tea.
My best friend lied,
He had things to hide,
He cheated with my girlfriend,
Who left me in the very end.
Am I loser, am I jerk?
Is this what I, really deserve?

No it isn't.
I know it's not,

I've done nothing wrong
And my will is strong,
I now know who my true friends are,
All this has left is a miniscule scar,
So even if my girlfriend cheated,
And my best friend lied,
I wake up everday,
I will survive.
