You can no longer speak your mind
For you mouth has swelled up and its like she is gagging you with cotton and your heartbeat is rising with every breath you take. Your lips are turning red with the pressure of your teeth. You are looking rather red tonight – you can almost see the blood rising to your cheeks. I can hear your stomach churning because she forgot to feed you – I say that with the utmost respect because seriously who cooks anymore when you know you are being poisoned? But the poison was not harmful – I guess not this time, you can still speak just not with great force. And your lines are getting weaker and I believe sir that she is catching on. But don’t worry, no don’t worry yet these lines are recycled – just you wait and see – but alas – remember that one girl? Oh yes, that one, the one you so half heartedly won over, she slept next to you in bed and you even held her hand and uttered three words. She remembers you well, and she did not need a poison, what she needed was a knife – a good sharp knife. Digging it straight into your back – later she bathed in it and let the residue sink into her pores so she could remember just the way you felt – warming yourself next to her – getting ready to dive into the fire and overwhelm her little world.
