Scissor cut-out camels
Strung wide in caravan
Set against the mountains
Of neatly-piled sand

In some far off Arabian
Night of twinkling stars
A prize of stock and beauty
Tied silken to a Moor

Protected by the master
And burning razor steel
Guarded by a lover
A one-way lover, still

Atop my magic fabric
I close within a scent
Of very subtle jasmine
An aphrodisiac

Lain out in sultry slumber
'Neath tents against the sky
Shiny threads of wonder
Gloat to catch my eye

Ancients and her master
Phrophesied this day
When sandy fingers come to call
To coax the queen away

Few possess the power
To blend a splendid love
But here it is, eyes collide
She arches to above

Some will call this hour
The melting of the souls
The end of pain and sorrow
The spark of life it tolls
