You've been gone awhile now, my precious dear,
as time slips away so has my tears.

I feel like crying for you, each and every day,
It's not fair this planet has taken you away.

I know it's not right, I know it's not fair,
I'll miss the warmth of your embace and the smell of your hair.

My only relief is knowing for sure,
You've moved on (in the next place) , with a heart so pure.

I know your telling me 'All is well',
as I'm trying to escape this living hell.

The world was brighter when you were here,
can't seem to escape this extended nightmare.

I know I must move on and let you be...
...all the loving memories of just you and me.

Yes we had fun the time you were here,
I'll cherish those memories - forever- my precious dear.
