Theirs a view from the bridge
in the moon light
a river flowing below
small houses
from
which people beckon

pleading with you
not to let go

tall timbers sway in the darkness
the river mirrors your soul
dark eddies, swift currents forming
whisper why not just
let go

alone on the bridge
in your mind
hold a vision of all you
hold dear
the laughter of friendship and loved ones

the ones that still need you here

Stepping back from the edge
Isn't easy
as peace seems to beckon below
your young life is still here for the living
