Keeping the trains on time on the Capitol night shift

Three short subway lines run under the Capitol complex and it's mechanic Dave Printz's job to make sure the 50-year-old House line is running every morning. The Architect of the Capitol employs a staff of nearly 2,400 to maintain the 290-acre complex. About 770 of those employees come to work after the sun goes down.
