Here I am looking at you
wondering what to say...
Would you understand where
I'm coming from or simply
turn away?

No matter how hard I tried I just
couldn't fit, that perfect little mold
you had. For your perfect little kid.

I've given up on your dream and have
now gone after mine..I guess we'll
have to see if you still hate me in time.

But even if you do that's fine. Because
now i can say I went after my dream,
that I put in my mind.

My dream, My choice, My own.
