Kayla Jacobs - End

in his arms
i lay awake
silently crying
for the things that are gone
the mystified innings
of my desire
cleaning away the waste
being the waste of space i am
nobody will want me
says my gashes on my leg
too many scars for him to handle
too many cuts for him to see
tears stream down my face
like a flowing river
only mine to taste
sliding my fingers over my scars
wondering how i came this far
wishing i could just end it all
