Kaycie Cooper - The Boy

Darkness falls,
At the heart of night watch for the lone boy.
Alone as always, waiting in the moons pale light.
Eyes forever changing from ice to cloud.
Stars,
Shadows dance,
A song of silence upon faded jeans,
Upon his forever frozen form.
Skin of ivory shines.
Half wild,
Still slightly mad,
Bewildered by time,
Events of the past cutting through.
Chained to the night,
Tormented by day.
As he stalks, he may hear a sound,
Shift into a moonbeam and be gone.
Disappearing once again.
Becoming nothing more than a memory,
His repeated act never failing.
