Below the dark clouds
Lies barren land
Witnessing mankind
Beneath the sand

Searching for their fault
Praying for another day
Before a last wish
Their whispers die away

Civilization ahead
Now a thing of the past
Where love rested
Life breathed its last

Generations later, eyes
Looking out in vain
Cries its heart out
At imprints of pain
