Kay Colwill - Dawn

Blue flows into black,
as the sun slowly starts
to brighten up the sky.
Soon it'll be an explosion
of colours; heavy colours
against clean canvas.
I love this time of day-
or night.
I love how you can never
tell which it is.

Lost.

The stars still visible as
the blue starts to erase them
away

one by one

Just to appear the next dawn once more.
