Kay Bell - Let me forget

i recall every moment i spent with you
and think about how it was never true
careless with what i let myself feel
stupid for thinking that it was real
tears sliding down my cheeks
i can feel my body getting weak
falling into an endless daze
the world around me becomes a haze
i wasnt something to throw away
im hurting bad and im NOT ok
too painful to try to stay sober
wake me up when this is over
time to let go of all this
but let me make one last wish
when i awake with all the regrets
just make it easy and let me forget
i've made too many mistakes already
and all of it is getting heavy
the pressure is becoming strong
and im not sure that i can hold on
so spare the pain and misery
just let my mind wander free
