Kavitha Krishnamurthy - A debate between my past and future

My past and future were busy with a debate
My past said, I am very reliable
She knows very well about me
Even though I had given some tears
I too gave some sweet memories
I am at a point from where I can't come back to her
But I always stay alive in her memories
Whenever she thinks of me I give her tears of joy or sorrow
I am more powerful than you

My future said
My dear brother, you are at a point from where you cannot return
I am the thing she truly anticipates
I am totally flexible and I am in her hands
I am shaped as she forges me
It is me who she awaits
I am an enigma, but that is my specialty
I am more powerful than you

Being the judge of the debate, I feel too confused
Now you help me in deciding which is more powerful
