Katy Perry made a guest appearance on Good Morning America to reveal her "Prism" cover art and announce an exciting new contest! Thanks for tuning back in to your music news here on ClevverMusic. Slayty Perry, as her fans call her, showed up on GMA this Friday morning in Princess Lea braids on her head and a modest navy and white floral dress. Quite different from her "Roar" music video Tarzan look! Katy revealed her brand new fairytale-like "Prism" cover art on the Jumbotron in Times Square, showcasing a fresh faced Katy with not much makeup on. A floral border surrounds her as pastel sun shines on her face. The cover is drastically different from her previous album cover seeing her naked in a cloud. And thats clearly indicative of the new albums theme. Katy explained on GMA about the record, "The theme is just me... essential oils of who I am". And we like what we hear! We love the inspirational album concept and the shining cover art which Katy described, "I just wanted it to be pure and radiant and full of light." Success! In addition to premiering her album cover, Ms. Perry also announced a brand new "Roar" fan contest. Katycats can submit videos of themselves singing her single "Roar" and on her birthday (October 25) she will perform a concert at the winning fans high school! Um, can we come?! And on her birthday?!
