Kathryn Rejdych - Summertime

Sleeping in late,
Staying out til the sun wakes.
Summer nights warm with a cool wind,
driving down a road with the windows down
letting the cool breeze flow through your fingers and your hair.
A time to bring on new love,
A time to go to the beach and relax in the sun and then go swimming,
A time to go camping out in the woods with tents, not trailers.
A time to work your butt off to save for school or your dream car,
A time to discover who you really are.
Break may only be 2 months for some,
but in those 2 months they are sure to have fun.
When summer ends people will go,
Back to highschool, college, university or work
and those summer times will just be memories...
Memories of good and bad,
memories that will forever last
