Kathryn Miller - Window Boy

He sits there and watches me,
Tear stained cheeks pressed against the window,
Swollen eyes fallowing my trail,
I flash a smile in his direction and only then,
does he turn and cast his piercing stare in another direction,
To wipe the dropp of water of his rosy red cheeks,
Then night falls and I return bye the window boys house,
He is still there fallowing my every step,
I walk into my house,
And open a window just near his,
I hear him whimper and a woman scream,
The window boy shrieks 'No mommy dont! ',
And then all falls silent except for heavy breathing,
I turn out the lights and pray it isnt so,
When i awake the next morning I rush to the door,
And am greeted by the flashing lights of that police car,
I begin to weep for the poor little boy,
Through my tear stained eyes,
I happen to see the little boy hovering over me,
He sets his hand on my shoulder and tells me its ok,
and that he is fine, my little window boy is safe,
He tells me I am his hero his strength,
I am what he proclaimed as his 'savor',
I grasp the little window boy in my arms,
look up to the heavens and thank god for my little window boy,
My window boy, my window boy, my little baby brother......
