Description

Caden Andrew Healy

I did not know you or hear you cry.
Ne’er knew the whisper of your sigh.

I will not mend your fallen knee,
Will ne’er answer your tear stained plea.

To stroke your face, to hold your hand.
To watch you playing in the sand.

It will not happen, ‘tis not to be.
My love, you were called away from me.

I have been robbed, cries out my womb.
Emptiness, it seems, my heart entombs.

So anger fumes, my rage ensues,
I’ll scream at God, I’ll chastise you.

You would not stay, my God knows why,
The rage will pass, the anger die.

With Jesus live, eternally
That is to be your destiny.

I’ll weep for you, in open sight.
I’ll talk to God through dark of night.

One day, some day, we will unite.
Ne’er more taken from my sight

That day, I’ll know, I’ll understand.
How God has used this in His plan.

I’ll see your face, I’ll see you smile.
The time will pass, ‘twill be just a while.

You’ll run to me, I’ll run to you.
Abundant joy, will then endue.

I’d bring you back if I’d the power
Until that day, until that hour

You’ll bloom and grow far from my eyes.
Here in my heart you’ll never die.
Son, in my heart, you’ll never die.
