Though you were a stranger
I felt I had known you forever
You made me feel needed
With your comments and questions
The feeling of happiness
Felt so good
As we talked
So I made time to meet
Not realizing
What you really were
You seemed safe
But you were not
You were in disguise
Now I’m lying on the floor
Embarrassed
Ashamed
And scared
You are gone
I am in pain
Barely hanging on
Trying to yell for help
Though only a whisper
With no one near
To hear
