Kathrin Peters - Shadows

I hide myself in shadows
dark and hungry shadows
who fed from my soul
and enjoyed my pain
they find the access to my heart
and fed from my love
and whats left?
a lonely heart
which screams of love

I hide myself in shadows
I won't recognize the world
but in the end
the shadows do not really matter
'cause you've took my hand
and were at my side
and then there was a light
which shined so bright
it was there like a firefly
in a black dark night
