Quite a lad, that boy i'd say
Handsome and kind
In his own kind of way

Too smart to listen
But the first to speak up
Like his own old tradition
Just to see what's what

A take charge kind of guy
Following his own rules
Silent, but not too shy
Just observant on who's who

Say one thing
He'll turn it around
Say it again
He'll stand his own ground

Never worries enough to cause any
stress
Never clear enough to change
Wanting more of what is the best
And the last one to admit any blame

With no chip on his shoulder
Because he is the chip
Not in the fast lane, just slower
Looking for the piece that just fits

Definitely not a follower in anybody's
footprints
For he insists on making his own
Never letting anyone cross over his own
fence
Where only himself is able to raom

Trying to hide his cares and concerns
He will then keep them held inside
By himself he sort's it all out and
learns
If only necessary, will he then confide

And finally he needs others to recognize
he's a leader
And tells you to stand tall in what you
believe
Never to let anyone see a side that is
weaker
For he believes you live with your own
creed!
