Katherine Bryce - Dim Eyes

You look at me,
with eyes so dim,
leaving me with,
a feeling so grim.
I'm sorry that it ended,
so harsh and so cold,
but inside of you,
is no longer pure gold.
I knew that you,
wanted to leave,
even while wearing,
your heart on your sleeve.
Fine then- go,
but don't look back again,
because this time,
will be different from then.
I try and I try,
to stay strong,
but how can I,
when I think of you all day long?
